Orlando car shipping costs about $600 from Atlanta, $1,000 to Houston and about $1,500 to Los Angeles, on an open trailer. Five of the prices below came from cars we actually collected in Orlando, Ocoee and Maitland this month. The rest come from the same roads within a few miles.

Orlando auto transport priced from real Orlando pickups
Most car shipping prices online are a formula. Five rows in the table above are not.
They came from cars collected in Orlando, Ocoee and Maitland and dispatched in September 2026. Same metro, same week, same kind of car. That is as close as pricing gets to the real thing.
Why we say which is which
Five rows are backed by a local load. The other nine come from the same roads within a few miles. Both are sound. Telling you the difference costs us nothing and it is how we would want to be told.
What still moves the number
Fuel moves it week to week. So does your vehicle, your dates and the exact address. Treat every figure here as a solid starting point rather than a promise, then take a live quote.
The quote is the one that holds
Once you have a quote, it is the price you pay, as long as the car, the route, the condition and the details stay the same. That is the part we will stand behind.
Orlando Car Shipping Questions
The questions we get asked most here, answered for Orlando rather than with national averages.
How much does Orlando car shipping cost?
Shipping in starts at about $600 from Atlanta. Shipping out starts at about $825 to Brooklyn. Fourteen lanes are priced on this page, both directions, and several come from real Orlando pickups rather than an estimate. Put both zip codes into the calculator for your own figure. It takes about a minute.
Which Orlando prices come from actual Orlando loads?
Houston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Brooklyn and Lakewood. Those five were priced from cars collected in Orlando, Ocoee and Maitland and dispatched in September 2026. The rest are priced from the same corridor within a few miles. We would rather tell you which is which than present every row as equally certain.
How long does Orlando car shipping take?
One to three days from Atlanta. Two to four to Houston. Three to four to Dallas or Chicago. Three to five to New York. Five to seven to Los Angeles or Las Vegas, and seven to nine to Seattle or Tacoma. Those days start once the car is on the trailer. Your pickup window comes before that.
Do you have an office in Orlando?
Our Central Florida office is in Kissimmee, 18 miles south, at 2095 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. Call it on 407-377-6073 and you reach the team that handles Orlando every day. It is a dispatch office rather than a drop off point, so your car still travels door to door. For most people the distance changes nothing at all.
Can a truck reach my house in a gated community?
Almost always, with one phone call first. Many Orlando neighborhoods have gates, and some resort and vacation communities add height bars or need a visitor pass. A 75-foot carrier will not fit through a height bar. We arrange a wide, open meeting point just outside instead, usually a few minutes away, and it costs you nothing. Tell us the community name when you book and we sort it in advance.
What about pickup on International Drive or near the parks?
We do it often, and it needs a plan rather than a surprise. The attractions corridor has heavy traffic, tight hotel loops and security at many properties. Drivers avoid the middle of the day there. We usually load early morning from a nearby lot with room to work. Give us the hotel or resort name at booking and we pick the spot before the truck is assigned.
Can you deliver a car to Orlando airport?
We deliver near MCO rather than at the terminal, because airports do not allow carrier loading kerbside. A hotel lot or a business park a few minutes out works well. Plenty of people fly in and pick the car up on arrival. Give us your flight day and we time the delivery window around it.
When is Orlando car shipping busiest?
October and April are the two busy months on Florida lanes, when the seasonal traffic turns around. Book one to two weeks ahead for those dates, or three to four weeks if your dates cannot move. Summer is the calmest stretch of the year and the easiest time to name your own days.
What is a pickup window?
It is the spread of days when your car will be collected. Six days on standard, three on expedited. You count forward from the date you name. Widening it is the cheapest way to improve your price, because it lets us use a truck already running your route.
Should I ship open or enclosed out of Orlando?
Open, for a daily driver, and that covers almost every car we move here. Plan on about 80 percent more than open for enclosed. A $1,000 open move is roughly $1,800 enclosed. A hard-sided trailer takes two to six cars against ten on an open one, so fewer cars share the cost. Enclosed earns it on a classic, an exotic, fresh paint, or a car too low for a ramp.
Which Orlando areas do you cover?
All of them. Downtown, Winter Park, Maitland, College Park, Baldwin Park, Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, Hunters Creek, Windermere, Ocoee, Apopka, Winter Garden and Clermont. The wider metro runs on I-4, the Florida Turnpike, SR-417 and SR-429, so carriers reach most addresses without doubling back.
Is my car insured, and will the quote hold?
Yes to both. The carrier hauling your car holds Carrier Cargo Insurance and it covers every mile. We hold that carrier's certificate of insurance once a truck is assigned, and a copy comes over when you ask. The price we quote is the price you pay, as long as the vehicle, the route, the condition and the shipping details stay the same.
Orlando vehicle shipping and the resort corridor
Orlando is easy to ship in and out of. One part of it needs a phone call first, and it is the part most companies never mention.
A car carrier is about 75 feet long and 13 and a half feet tall. Much of the attractions corridor is built for coaches and shuttles, not for that.
Everywhere else in Orlando, the truck comes to the address. Winter Park, Maitland, College Park, Baldwin Park, Lake Nona, Hunters Creek, Ocoee, Apopka and Winter Garden are all straightforward, with room to turn and load at the curb. That is most of the city. The resort corridor is the exception, not the rule, and one sentence when you book handles it.
How long does Orlando car shipping take?
Driving time is only the middle of it. A booking has three parts, and the first is usually the longest.
The pickup window comes first
Six days on standard, three on expedited. Count forward from the date you give us. Florida is a busy market, so pickups here often land early in that window.
Then the road
One to three days to the Southeast. Three to four to Texas or Chicago. Seven to nine to the Pacific Northwest. Federal rules cap the miles a driver can cover in a day.
Then the drop
The driver calls ahead as he gets close and you agree the spot together. Give us a number for whoever will actually be there to take the keys.
October and April are the two busy months on Florida lanes. Book one to two weeks ahead for those dates, or three to four weeks if your dates cannot move. Summer is the calmest stretch of the year.
Your local office for Orlando auto transport is 18 miles south
There is no Smart Auto Move counter in Orlando. There is a staffed office in Kissimmee, 18 miles down I-4 and US-192, and it handles Orlando every day.
Local people answer the phone
Call 407-377-6073 and you reach Central Florida, not a queue in another state. If a driver runs late, the people who can fix it are 18 miles away rather than 1,800.
It is why these prices exist
We book these lanes every week from that office. That is where the Orlando, Ocoee and Maitland loads in the table came from, and why this page can publish real numbers.
Nothing to drive anywhere
It is a dispatch and coordination office, not a drop off point. Your car is collected from your Orlando address and delivered to the other one. The office is where the arranging happens.

Orlando car shipping neighborhood by neighborhood
Orlando runs about thirty miles across. Where you are decides which road the truck uses.
Orlando car shipping north and east
Winter Park, Maitland, Baldwin Park, College Park and Lake Nona. Easy access from I-4 and SR-417, wide streets, and the truck loads at the address in almost every case.
Orlando auto transport west and southwest
Ocoee, Apopka, Winter Garden, Windermere and Dr. Phillips. SR-429 and the Turnpike make this side quick to reach. The gated communities here are the ones worth naming when you book.
Orlando vehicle shipping south and the corridor
Hunters Creek, Meadow Woods, the airport area and International Drive. Busy roads and more gates, so we pick the loading spot in advance rather than on the morning.
We also cover the wider metro on the same trucks: Clermont, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Celebration, Sanford, Altamonte Springs, Oviedo and Davenport. I-4, the Florida Turnpike, SR-417 and SR-429 tie it all together, which is why a driver can work several Orlando pickups in one morning without doubling back.
Open carriers move most cars, SUVs and pickups to and from Orlando.
Open Orlando car shipping
The default, and the sensible choice for an everyday car. Nine or ten cars ride an uncovered double-deck trailer. It is how dealerships get new stock. There are more open trailers on Florida lanes than anything else, so it books fastest.
Enclosed Orlando auto transport
Plan on about 80 percent more than open. A $1,000 open move is roughly $1,800 enclosed. A hard-sided trailer takes two to six cars against ten. Fewer cars share the cost. Worth it for a classic, an exotic, fresh paint, or a car too low for a ramp.
Expedited Orlando vehicle shipping
Cuts the pickup window in half, six days to three. Most useful in October and April, when standard dates fill up fast.
Is your car insured on an Orlando auto transport order?
Yes, and it is worth a short read, because how the cover sits is not quite what people expect.
What covers the car
The carrier hauling your vehicle holds Carrier Cargo Insurance, and it covers every mile of the trip. Once a truck is assigned we hold that carrier's certificate of insurance, and a copy comes over as soon as you ask.
Straight there, no stops
The car goes from your Orlando address onto the trailer and off again at the far end. No holding lot along the way, and no point where one company hands it to another.
Checking a carrier is something you can do yourself, and we encourage it. FMCSA SAFER is a free public lookup: type in a USDOT number and it returns active operating authority and insurance on file. Ours is USDOT 2887232 and MC 969368.
